Needle felted Pembroke Welsh Corgi perched in ’sploot’ position on top of an old green croquet ball while discussing options with his friend below. Needle felting is done by wrapping wool around a wire frame and securing it with a single barbed needle. The process is slow as layers are added until the desired shape is achieved. Finally colors and details are added to finish.

The dog’s personality emerges as the form takes shape and the idea for a vignette presents itself. Dogs are an endless source of joy and happiness and I delight in each one of a kind furry friend.
