Needle felted tan and white Shih Tzu dog balanced on a hand painted and distressed wooden ball. A joyous way to celebrate a birthday, this sweet flying pup is a beautiful focal piece to mark a special day! Each dog in this series comes wearing a handmade paper party hat and fancy ribbon collar as well as a handmade balloon and beeswax candle.  The dog is mounted on a clear thin rod for easy insertion into the cake. After the celebration, the dog can be removed from the rod as a keepsake. A great idea is to add a ribbon and use it as a tree ornament memento of the occasion!
